An Interview with Lisa herself: Why is your job important? I think every single job and person working here at Good Hope National Park is important and they each have a specific role in our tight-knit community that I am proud to call my family. I think specifically my job is important because I support this connection between a visitor and the park and I have the ability to make them feel welcome and answer all their questions. It is also my duty to make sure that the employees around me are suitably trained and qualified to suit the needs of our visitors. What do you like about your job? I can undoubtedly say that I like everything about my job from the incredible view just outside my desk to the amazing and tight-knit community that this park holds. As a child I have always loved exploring the outdoors and now I have the ability to come to wrk everyday and work in intertwined with nature at this National Park. Probably my favourite aspect is getting to become close friends with visitors and by making them feel comfortable and happy its in turn making me happy as well.
